REFUNDS
Refund and cancellation policy
Effective 27 July 2026. This policy explains refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, late arrivals, and no-shows for OpenTalk trial and regular lessons.
Trial lessons
The 10 SAR trial payment is generally non-refundable after purchase. Once OpenTalk confirms the booking, the customer may reschedule it once by contacting support at least 48 hours before the lesson. A request received less than 48 hours before the lesson, a cancellation, a no-show, or a second rescheduling request does not qualify for a refund.
Regular lesson changes
A confirmed regular lesson may be rescheduled once when support receives the request at least 72 hours before the lesson. A request received less than 72 hours before the lesson, a cancellation, a no-show, or a second rescheduling request remains chargeable at 25 SAR. A late arrival does not extend the scheduled end time.
When OpenTalk cannot provide a lesson
OpenTalk first attempts to arrange a replacement teacher or a new time. If OpenTalk ultimately cannot provide a trial, the 10 SAR payment is refunded in full. If OpenTalk cannot provide a confirmed regular lesson, 25 SAR is restored to the lesson balance and may be used or requested as part of an unused-balance refund.
Unused lesson credit
A customer may request a refund of the full available, unused lesson balance. Completed lessons and confirmed lessons that are cancelled late, missed, or otherwise chargeable under this policy are not unused balance. A confirmed lesson remains reserved and non-refundable unless OpenTalk cannot provide it.
How to request a refund
Submit the request through WhatsApp at +64 20 4014 3086 and include the account email and reason for the request. OpenTalk normally reviews a complete request within 2-3 business days. Approval is subject to the available unused balance and this policy.
Original payment method and timing
Approved refunds are returned only to the original payment method. OpenTalk does not provide cash withdrawals, transfers to another bank account, or balance transfers to another user. After the payment provider accepts a refund, the issuing bank usually displays it within approximately 5-10 business days; the exact timing is controlled by the bank and payment network.
